ShitBalls! I can't log on to this site at school and I can't find my cord for putting pictures on my blog. So sit tight while I figure out what to do and whether I can find a site that I can access at school. The cord thing bothers me cause It renders my camera pretty useless. On the plus side I'm still sweating balls.

Talk about sad. When I was in Detroit Meghan came and stayed with me in the hotel so she could see me off. When she came in she gave me my gift which was a bunch of materials to keep me busy on my plane ride, like a coloring book, a crossword, and a wordfind. She also gave me some candies like Mike and Ikes. You see, Mike and Ikes are the movie theatre candy of choice for my little brother and I, and have been for many years as they are easy to hide in my mother's purse. Then she gave me a little tin that had a book of pictures of us. So naturally I cried like a little girl because I've been basically spending the last two weeks saying good bye to people and emotionally I was drained because I knew hers was going to be the hardest.

We got some wine and just watched a movie, which my parents will be getting the bill for right about now(i'll pay that back too). The next day I walked her to her car an hour before I had to check in because I didn't want to have to say good bye then get right on the plane. We sat there and cried for like fifteen minutes. I was telling one of my friends at Shakespeare's at one of my going away gatherings that when I got off the plane from my year in Hokkaido, I could have turned right around gotten back on that plane. There was nothing that put any doubt into my mind that I needed to come back to Japan for a couple of more years. That was the way I felt all year long, until two months ago when Meghan walked in to Waldo's to drive Emily home. I told Lisa that she is the only thing that ever made me second guess my decision. I know I made the right decision in coming back, but she was the only thing in a whole year that ever made me doubt even once.

The plane ride was ass long. As much as I like watching that movie about Antonio Banderas teaching inner city youth the value of dancing, I do feel as though their movie selection was lacking. I slept some on the plane but it was still a long flight. Northwest has nothing on JAL. My first flight to Japan was much cooler. When I got off of the plane, I was confused and tired. They herded us like cattle through the airport and eventually got us on the bus to the hotel. The hotel is quite nice as its a luxery hotel but my body is still really beat, so I'll talk about the orientation later.

Leaving for Detroit right now. I got to see Meghan's parents on Tuesday which was fun. They took us out to dinner, and then we just rented movies and hung out. They are both just amazing people and Meghan is very lucky to have them. Her parents took us out to dinner at the place where her dad sometimes works. I forgot the name but I think its Portugese for "eat until you die". I can't be certain, but I do believe that roughly thirty-seven animals where killed for the meal. I was quite full and ended up just laying around like a pregnant walrus, which for those of you unfamiliar with pregnant walrusi, lay around quite a bit.
The next day I came home and started to pack for my trip. I was making headway when a storm came in. The power went out right when monsoon level torrents started pouring down on us.My little brother had went down to Kalamazoo to drop of my apartment key, pick up my bed, weights, and a couch. When he was almost home the rain came pouring down on him. The matress was soaked, the couch was ruined, and he left my keys and weights in Kalamazoo. All in all it was a successful journey.
The next day Curtis and Nicole came over and we hung out with my parents. We all sat around with some beer telling stories and laughing. Then after my parents went to bed we drank the rest of their alcohol and sat around laughing. Though my parents were dissapointed in their booze being consumed, it was a great last day in my home.

Last time seeing Ashley. So I went and saw Ashley for the last time before I go. It was fun getting to hang out with Amanda, Peter, and her. I didn't really get to see her a whole lot this summer because she was so busy with her internship a million miles away. She'll be ubber succesful so it'll be worth it in the long run, when I need to borrow money.
I'm glad that I got to meet Peter. He seems like a really cool guy, and he's good for Ashley (what with the accent and all). I'm sorry I only got to know him for a short period of time before I had to leave.
Amanda(on the right) is more man than most guys I know will ever be. I was on a 5th grade OM team with this girl but didn't hang out with her until I started dating Ashley after I graduated from highschool. She's pretty rad and is ubber fun to hang out with.
All three are good shits and I hope they keep in touch.
